Most Aqours fans know that Kanan lives alone with her grandfather in their small, family-owned diving shop however, the less well-known side of this story is that while her parents are alive and well, they moved away and left her behind.
Even though at first she feels like it doesn't suit her, she eventually gets used to it, and even begins to enjoy wearing them. Kanan usually wears more athletic clothes and isn't used to being very "girly", but she takes a liking to the cute, girly school-idol costumes after she tries them on.
